Mastery Objective:
You will be able to create a Wikispace page that will teach the rest of the class about a Spanish-speaking artist and a few pieces of his/her artwork. You will be able to present your wiki to the class on the Smartboard and give a more detailed description of one work of art.

DUE DATE: Friday, January 21st 2011

You should name your wiki in the following format:
ARTIST'S NAME - GROUP MEMBERS' LAST NAMES


Parte Escrita:
Debes incluir en el Wiki
-Una foto o dibujo del/de la artista
-Los siguientes datos sobre el/la artista:
  • Su fecha de nacimento y de su muerte (si está muerto/a)
  • Su país de origen, nacionalidad,
  • 3 más datos importantes e interesantes que se te destaquen (that stand out to you) sobre el/la artista
    • i.e.Algo sobre su familia, su niñez, etc.
-Por lo menos 5 fotos de sus obras con sus títulos
-Citas (Citations) de la información y las pinturas (Be sure to give credit where credit is due)

Parte Oral:
  • Each student in your group will choose one of the pieces to present to the class orally.
  • In the oral presentation you should tell the class the following pieces of information:
      • Título
      • Año de creación
      • Su composición, colores, elementos importantes
      • ¿Qué era su mensaje, ¿Por qué lo pintó?
      • Es de cierto movimiento, estilo?

  • Correct Use of Past Participles used as Adjectives (2 examples)
